I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I measured my son’s foot, it’s a 8.6 inches long. Size chart big kid size 4 is said 8.7 inches. Perfect. I ordered size 4. Size 4 came. Labeled correctly. Size 4 is 9.5 inches.
I ordered 3 of these sandals one for each kid. All were wayyy too big. Why Why Why have a size chart if it is simply incorrect. So frustrating.

Not made with child’s feet development in mind – VERY stiff, narrow, and has arch support that prevents natural arch development and strengthening. The pictures are somewhat deceiving because they don’t show that there is such a prominent arch support.

This is tricky to describe, but if you line up the velcro to fasten the ankle, it sits strangely and cuts into the ankle. My 3 yr old immediately said it was uncomfortable and pointed to the ankle of the sandal. He also said the black square at the “joint” was uncomfortable. If you adjust it, the velcro is not well aligned. Also, seems like the foot would slide around in these, I’m returning them for tevas.
