The Heatseeker™ Synthetic Insulation is made with hollow-core fibers to trap heat while remaining lightweight. The waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L shell with a non-PFC DWR finish will help keep them dry in any weather conditions. Plus, the attached, three-piece hood with an elasticized rain-guard tunnel ensures a snug fit, while the powder skirt with elasticized gripper keeps out snow and wind. With long set-in sleeves, a zippered front closure, and a durable construction, this jacket is built to last.

Would definitely recommend this jacket for skiing. My 8 year old who is always cold skied for 4 hours straight in temps below 0 with wind chill! The jacket looks great too and he was easy to spot on the mountain!
