Looking F –
I like the overall design of the boot, which is what attracted me to them online, but was expecting a different color Online they look like a warmer color and when they arrive, they look like a pinkish gray taupe.
Try them on anyway, just in case, but did not care for them and the zippers seemed very stiff and the shoe just not super comfortable although I imagine they would break in.
Returning as I do not care for the color and not what I expected after looking at the images online

These are very nice looking boots. I have had a mixed time with Teva boots and decided to try again. The 11 felt small to me, not quite true to size. It happens sometimes with leather – it’s super snug in the beginning before molding to your foot but it is not my preferred way to buy boots. I planned to return and size up but 11 was the largest size so I just kept them and bought some shoe stretch spray. The calf is also very tight. It has elastic so it’s feasible to wear still but not very comfortable. The shaft circumference is not listed on the site so I am not sure if it’s tighter than normal or just right on larger calves. I am hoping with the shoe spray and some time to “break them in” they will be more comfortable for this winter. I’ve worn them twice now though and they would be difficult to be a daily boot for me.

I was really excited about these, but they were too tight in the calf. Need to have the measurements in the listing!

These boots feel cheap for the price tag, i was expecting thicker/higher quality leather.
They’re also a little but of suede material and pick up dirt/smudges like crazy.
The soles are very stiff.
I hope the zipper holds up on these boots.
I still like the low profile look of these boots so I will keep them, hoping they break in nicely and dont just fall apart like they feel like they might!

I love these boots. No issues from day one of wearing them. I wanted a minimalist look to go with my style and these are perfect for that. Insoles are replaceable.

The reviews made me skeptical to buy. However, these are great! They do not feel cheap like one review said. They are perfect. I have muscular calves and yet these fit perfect with room to spare. I do have flat feet, so that may impact my view on them feeling so comfortable. My mom who has really high arches says they fit too tight but I am really glad I bought them.

great quality comfortable boots as always, I have yet to be unhappy with any Teva purchase I have made.
I do wish wide sizes were offered but even without a wide size, going up 1/2 a size works well enough for me.

There wasn’t anything wrong with these…I just didn’t find they suited my style. While I love a pair of minimalist, form-fitting dark brown leather boots, these had almost a galosh-like fit. They were just too plain…not elegant or minimal, just plain. It’d be cute as a “farm look” with a flannel and jeans and oversized coat, but too baggy and unpolished for a tightly styled “city look.” The insole and step was nothing special or extra comfy. I weigh 135lbs at 5’3″ and the calves were roomy on me. I’m a size 9 (usually 9.5 in Teva), size 9 fit fine.

I love these boots so much. I have been wearing them daily for almost a month and I walk several miles a day. Waterproof is bonus! They are comfortable inside and outside (note that I live in Montana). My calves are a little wider (16.25 inches) and most tall boots don’t fit. These boots have a stretchy (but not too much) panel that allow me to get the zipper over my calf while wearing lined tights. They are snug but not tight. It’s all I can do to keep from trying to find another color.

Perfect to wear right outside the box! This never happens to me. I did easily remove the insoles first, and replace with my own custom orthotic, so I can’t say how much arch support the insoles have. They looked pretty flat to me. But with my orthotics, there is plenty of room in the boots.
The quality feels nice as well, and I’ve been wearing this boots with midi-length dresses

I tried these beautiful boots on as soon as I received it and unfortunately the size seems to be a half to 1 size bigger than it should. I’m a size 5 with narrow, petite feet and it’s very roomy in there. I’m disappointed because I’ve always known Teva to cater to narrower feet. I’ve had the De La Vina boots for 7+ years (they fit me like a glove as soon as I wore them for the first time!) So sadly I have to return these. I really loved the look and color of it too (I got the Carabou). Not sure what’s up with Teva boots latelythis is the second pair of boots I have to return (both Rowena’s). Please bring De La Vina boots back!

shoe portion was perfect but the calf diameter was way too small

These are beautiful boots and don’t look cheap to me as one review suggests. They seem very well made and I like that they are waterproof. They were a little tall in the shaft and I felt like I wouldn’t get the wear from them due to that feature. I do think the price that I paid was worth the quality of the product, but will be returning them due to the tallness of the boot shaft. As always, thanks Zappos for your amazing customer service! You’re the best in the business!

I own a similar boot in brown, but this is a little different: the sole is beefier (a plus), the calf circumference is smaller (a plus for avoiding snow down my boots when cleaning off my car), and the leather is stiffer (they seem to be loosening up with two weeks of wear).

I was really hesitant to buy these boots based on the price. I’ve never spent this much money on a pair of shoes before and wasn’t super excited to start now. But my favorite tall brown boots fell apart and I desperately needed a replacement. Since I trust the Teva brand, I was willing to give these a try; I knew they would be high quality. Right out of the box, the boots are gorgeous. The leather is really good quality. The sole is sturdy. The elastic area on the calf blends in well with the rest of the boot and has decent stretch to it. The zipper is top notch. As for the fit, I usually wear a 7 and this size 7 fit perfectly. I know these boots will last a long time so overall the cost feels worth it to me for a pair of gorgeous well made boots.
