Been buying Tevas since they only made one style of river sandal. Just bought my third pair of these. I get four years out of a pair, and they get used a lot. They just will not wear out or break. Best all season day hikers I’ve ever found.

This is the second pair of these I’ve purchased. They are great for walking on rough terrain and offer great support. It did take a couple of short walks to break them in but, after that, they are very comfortable and long lasting. They are great on ice and snow also.

In preparation for a 5 week hiking trip I bought a pair of competitor hiking shoes because my local outfitter didn’t have Teva in stock. I tried to break them in and ended up with plantar fasciitis. I returned the competitor shoes and ordered these. I have about 300 miles on them now including 225 from my 5 week trip and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I’m ordering another pair not because these need to be replaced, I never want to be in a position of settling for something in stock. This is my 5th pair of Teva’s and I’m not risking my feet again to another brand.
Disappointed –
Love these shoes. Nice, roomy toe box and not too stacked up in the heel. Wish they came a half-size smaller but I am making them work. Would love to see a high or mid-height version offered.

Wrong size was shipped. I ordered size 11. Size 11 was specified on the Zappos invoice. Size 9 was shipped.

Teva Riva RP has a generous toe box and a nice comfortable foot surround that is relaxed and supportive for walking around or hiking. The arch support can be improved with an aftermarket product, that’s super easy to install. This is the 3rd over many years I’ve owned and they last a long time through lots of conditions, wet, snow, mud… Highly recommended.
