Suzanne –
So this Summer, after going back to work in person and no longer working from home, I noticed my back was sore at the end of each day, and even with regular yoga practice (which helped) I was still experiencing lower back pain. So I’m looking for a solution because I’m on my feet all day on unforgiving tile floors, and then I come across a picture of Teva midform sandals in an Athleta ad. A lightbulb pretty much appeared above my head. I was dubious about how the style would look on me, but I immediately invested in some Teva midform and flatform shoes just to try, and.they have saved my life!!! Well, my back, but pretty much the same thing. 🙂 Turns out the midform and flatform soles are like having an ergo mat installed in my shoes. My feet actually feel better at the end of each workday too! And I got a ton of compliments from customers and coworkers about how they look, and everyone is asking me what they are and where I bought them! So double-win, because it turns out women’s footwear can be both stylish and comfortable!! 😉 I now own 6 pairs of midforms and flatforms. I wear them EVERY DAY.
So cut to this new midform boot: I get an email about preorder for this new Teva boot, and of course I’m already thinking “what do I wear to work in the Fall, I can’t wear sandals all year long!”
I preorder, and my new black midform boots just arrived, and they look soooo cuuute!! My usually non-Teva shoe size is 8.5-9, I have wider-than-average feet, and with Teva boots I have learned to go with a 9 for the extra sock space. These boots are solid, beautifully crafted, and I can really feel the cushy midform comfort in the sole when I walk around. The laces definitely helped me loosen the boot up a little for my foot width and get a custom fit. I’ll admit, I really want a second color in these, and I preordered the Chelsea version to try as well.
Thanks Teva, for thinking and crafting outside the box, and for offering footwear for real women that meets all our needs. 😀

Altho I loved the first boots i bought from Teva, this pair is better. More comfortable and easy on/off. Can’t wait to put them to the test this fall.

Tried this boot in my usual size 9 and it was way too small. Re-ordered in a 10 and although the length worked, the narrow tow box still felt cramped. Also, i felt the overall fit tilted me forward as if I were wearing heels. So disappointed as I loved the look and also the fact that the boots were waterproof and made of recycled leather. I do have difficult feet to fit but I can wear Teva sandals and love them although I usually wear the men’s size 7.

They are stylish and comfortable. Thinking of buying more colors. Love the light color!

Love these boots! Great support and tread. Excellent for hiking!
I normally wear a size 9 but ordered a size 9.5 for thick socks etc. Perfect!

I saw the reviews on going a size up so I did and they ended up fitting me perfectly !!!
Ashley –
Waterproof, warm, and soft and squishy sole. Fits perfect.

I love Teva boots and sandals. My last pair of boots I wore my normal size, 6.5, but this time I sized up based on other reviews, and the 7 fit much better. There is some room in the toe box but since I am planning to wear these around town, not for hiking, that shouldn’t be a problem. The soles have lots of cushion, I think they’ll do well for standing or walking around a lot.

I am glad I stuck with true size, fits perfect. So comfortable, immediately, no need to break these in or get used to them.

I have nothing bad to say about my new boots.. very comfortable and they keep my feet warm, now I need to buy me another pair but in white, they go with everything..

I’ve struggled so much finding cute boots that are actually comfortable. Boots from other “nice” brands always squish my toes too much so I have to deal with the pain or size up and deal with my heel slipping. These are just a tiny bit tight in the toes at my proper size before wearing them in – not enough to be uncomfortable. The quality also feels a bit better than other boots I have at this price point.

I bought these boots because I loved the Doc Martin look, but wanted something more sleek and elegant for work! These Midform Tevas were it! They are super comfy and I love the color. They’re really unique and I love how I can dress them up for work or dress them down for a night out.
Bourbon G –
These boots are just what I wanted and they fit perfectly like all my other Teva sandals and shoes.

I bought these boots and have not taken them off since. So comfy, very cute, and very durable. worth the money!

The boots are so cute & I love the color but these are probably the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever bought. The back of my heal has no cushion & the stiff leather cuts into my leg, even through thick socks. I keep wearing for small bits of time, hoping they’ll get more comfortable but so far, no luck. They do still look cute though, so that’s a plus.

I am here to give you the FULL rundown on these boots! I kept them and love them now but it was not without substantial effort. I am a size 9 with a slightly wide foot but not enough that I buy wide shoes. I’ve had trouble finding boots and I saw these and loved them. I bought them in a 8.5, 9, and 9.5 to really figure out the best fit. When I first tried them on I would have given them a 1 for comfort. Here’s the info and how I made them work for me.
First, the toe box is very narrow. Usually this is a deal breaker for me. I sized up to a 9.5 and that made it better. But if you have a truly wide foot, these will be too uncomfortable. I also used one of those shoe stretchers and I think it gave me a tiny bit of room.
Second, this shoe is long. I needed a 9.5 for toe comfort but could have worn an 8.5 for length. So because I sized up, I had a boot that was too big and needed to make adjustments because my heels were slipping a TON. I tried thick socks- no took up too much toe space. Full insoles- nope, same issue, took up too much space in toe box. Half insoles- better but didn’t help heel slip enough. Silicone heel pads- this was a winner for me! Still some wiggle room in toes but kept my heel planted in the boot. Applying the pads in this boot is tricky, you have to really pull the boot open when you put your foot in to prevent your socks from ripping the pad off the boot. But now I can do it quickly. I wear regular socks, like you would with a tennis shoe. And I do a lace lock on the second-from-the-top shoelace loop, this part is a must to secure your foot in the shoe and prevent blisters.
Third, this is a high ankle boot so if you have a wide ankle, wide lower leg, or your calves are crooked (like mine, they sort of go off to the side instead of directly behind my leg), this boot will rub on your upper ankle and quickly cause irritation. I can only wear these with leggings or jeans tucked into the top. Maybe will soften up with time.
Fourth, I have a high arch and there is little/no support. You’ll have to add insoles if you need support.
All that being said. These are now comfortable! And I just love how they look, they are aesthetically the perfect boot for me! These can work for you if you have a naturally narrow foot and slim leg, or if you’re willing to put in the effort.

If you only have 2 out of 5 toes, the toe box might fit you. Length is perfect — so sizing up just makes them feel like clown shoes. Never in my life seen boots so awkwardly narrow at the toe. Clearly was designed for looks over comfort because these are adorable but horrifyingly skinny. I don’t even have wide feet.

Everyday wear! Super comfortable

I loooove these boots – they have a sort of deep purple hue mixed with brown that makes them so perfect for fall. I definitely recommend wearing thicker socks to start but that’s like any new boot – love the look and they feel awesome!

Too narrow at the toe. But excellent arch suupport.
Anna –
These boots have fared well for various types of rocky, and even some steep trails. They are so multipurpose, fit so well, and I have gotten so many compliments on how cute they are. I would definitely recommend as an all-around boot.

Fit was good just liked something else better.
Coneja –
I have the Midform boot in black and brown. I have narrow feet and can wear thicker socks in them. The boot is comfortable for walking. (I walk 13 blocks in the Midform boot to my office when I get off the train in NYC.)
BigFoot –
This boot fits perfectly, wears well, and looks great. Nice easy price AND it helps my feet be able to stay on the ground longer than an average hike boot. I need a stiff sole and support at the bottom for hiking and walking all day. I have wide feet and severe arthritis in my toes. The laces accommodate my wider foot and the insoles keep my toes happy. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good basic boot that looks and performs superbly.
Art –
I love the color and fit. They took a little breaking in, but they were so comfortable and had pretty good arch support considering they’re boots.
