I ordered these for my son who measures right at a 2.5, but is moving into a 3 for space. I ordered a size 3 and they were too small, I got the size 4 and they fit well.

Bought these in a size 7 for my son. They are significantly smaller than the Hurricane XLT2 in the same size. Had to return these and keep the Hurricanes instead.

Amazing for hiking! I bought these for myself, a mature woman with very wide feet, after recently discovering that “Big Kids” sizes sometimes fit my wide feet better than adult wide shoes. I wear a 6.5 women’s size, sometimes 7 to get shoes wide enough, and first I got the Big Kids size 5 in these. The 5 was perfect in Teva’s Kids’ Hurricanes, but I returned these to size up because the front strap in these, unlike the Hurricanes, is a little too far forward for positioning my wide foot. I tried positioning my foot a bit forward from the edge of the heel, tightening the heel strap, but then my toes went past the front of the sole. So I got the Big Kids size 6, and now I can tighten the heel strap so my foot is a little forward, and the front strap is in a good position, see pictures. Your mileage may vary, but I love the three velcro adjustments for this reason! Yesterday, I test drove these beauties on a steep hiking trail, the treads kept me from sliding and the fit was like a dream. Thanks, Teva, and thanks Zappos for making these available, and for making the exchange easy as pie.

My 11-year old son wears a youth size 7 in these and they fit him perfectly! They are better than the TEVA Hurricane model that he has worn for the past several years. The front strap is straight across the toes instead of at an angle. There is a bit of cushion under the straps as well, which the Hurricane model does not have. His pinky toe is more comfortable in this, also, because there is not a little plastic triangle. Having an adjustable heel strap has been wonderful and this allows him to get a perfect fit. I was going to get him Chacos, but once sand enters the sandal, it eats away at the webbing. I have no fear of these being at the beach and performing well. Thank you Zappos for excellent service, as always! (FYI, I wear a women’s 8, and these fit me perfectly in at Youth 6, and were more comfortable for me in the ankle strap than Teva Tirras).

I bought these in a size 4 for my 6 year old who typically wears a size 3.5 XW sneaker. They are nicely adjustable to accommodate his wide feet nicely and the lining under the Velcro prevents rubbing that you get with the Teva hurricane. I wouldn’t have him use them for long distances but he likes them and says they are comfortable.

Got these shoes for my 4yr old son and the top strap came apart from the velcro. we had the shoes a week when this started happening. He’s not a tough on shoes kid. I expected them to be in better condition for the price.

I waited until my son wore these at least once for a long outing before writing a review. Blisters or rubbing is a common issue with this style of sandal. These withstood a full day at the zoo with LOTS of walking. Great traction and support. I love that they have some grip on the bottom. Worth the $.

Son wears size 4 UA sneakers but these sandals are at the point of not fitting so I suggest sizing up.

I’m impressed with the support of this shoe. It seems more sturdy than other varieties of Tevas. Super cute style, nice that straps adjust in 3 places to fit foot well. Overall, very happy we purchased this shoe for summer.

Been wearing them for almost 30 yrs. I love the style, fit, material and practicality. They are well made for daily wearing. I wear them almost year around except when there is snow on the ground or freezing temps.

The sizing was strange–my son normally wears size 1-2 and I ordered a size 2, which was too small. I returned and got a size 4, which fit. Both sets of shoes were marked with the appropriate size but somehow the sizing was very small. Otherwise it’s a well designed, comfortable shoe and is great.

Bought them for my grandson for a trip to Hawaii. He wore them all over the place. Beach, tide pools, running through the jungle and even climbing rocks. He loved them. Easy to put on and take off. They’re his go to now. I highly recommend these especially a 7 yr old that never stops!

I ordered a 2 for my son thinking they’d have plenty of room so he could grow into them a bit but they ended up barely fitting so I returned for a bigger size.

These shoes are very comfortable. They have a lot of padding for you heel and feel great. I have high arches and only wish the arch support was better.

I am 62 years old and have small feet. I love to hike and was looking for a woman’s sandal that would actually fit, but no luck. These kids shoes are absolutely perfect! They have three ways to adjust to your foot, giving the option for an individual, perfect fit! This would be really helpful for a small child too! I highly recommend them for any age!

Best sandal ever for kids with super narrow feet. The velcro adjustment at 3 points is a big help. We do have a lot of overhang on the sides, but there is enough velcro to remain secure. Have gotten these for both my son and daughter and they hold up well to lots of running outside.

I’m an Adult but love these shoes. Cheaper and better quality than adult styles. Traction on bottom and support are great. I usually wear adult Women size 5.5-6. Wore them all over the place on beach vacation and no break in period required. Comfortable and easy to wear to beach and pool.
