My favorite sandal

Excellent sandal. I own some ancient Tevas that I used for backpacking. Not worn out but felt a new pair was justifiable. I find the newer version better the original. What I like best is that I can loosen the back strap, then slip into these sandals almost as easily as slides. These sandals provide good support and, because of the multiple bindings, stay put. Very comfortable, too. My go to dog walking sandals.

My new sandal for music festivals. At outdoor festivals, I frequently sit down, stand up, or lay down. These are the sandals I can easily remove while lying on a picnic blanket, or weathering summer elements like sand, dust, grass and rain. These have an attractive look thanks to their suede plated straps, but are super comfortable thanks to the pads inside each strap. These are perfect open summer sandals.

I have Katavi’s and think they are the best, so when Katavi 2 came, I had to get them as a second pair! Very comfortable and fit well. I like the color of these too!
Please Note: Buy Teva brand shoes or sandals from Zappos or Amazon or anywhere else, except for the Teva website. They are shipped from a company called Deckers Brand. Shipping was ok, but arriving took a while. I did not like the Teva’s I ordered from them. They were the Toachj 2, not the Katavi. So, I returned them for a refund. It took almost a week to get the notice that my return was received. And now I am still waiting for my refund. They said it could take 10 days for the refund to appear on my original method of payment.

Excellent full foot cushioning. Stable heel cup so they feel like running shoes. Adjustable straps everywhere for personal fit. Open air design is pretty flattering for his size 13Wide feet.

My feet were working too hard with flip flops so I tried several sandals and these are the best by far. Great fit and very comfortable!

I’m a big Teva Sandals Fan! These are very comfortable and nice looking. I also have the Hudson, which is just as good as these Katavi 2’s. I would recommend these. The only Teva Sandals I would Not recommend are the Universals or Terra’s – very cheap/flimsy straps.

Teva Katavi – this is a good sandal, sell designed and well built. I found a couple of issues, though. First, I’m in a half size, so accordingly I followed the suggestion and ordered the next size up. Too large, so I ordered the next size down, and found it was a much better fit. Fortunately, Zappos easy return policy made it possible to switch to a much better fit. If you order Katavi, be cautious about fit. The Katavi is also built with a rubber insole – great for wet situations, but the rubber surface is slightly checkered – I’d guess to provide a non-slip surface. It’s a little uncomfortable to walk on for long periods. Teva also makes an almost identical sandal in the Langdon which appears to my non-expert eye to be the same build as Katavi, but with a much more comfortable insole material. I’m not planning to be in the rain or at the beach, so I’d opt for the Langdon as a more comfortable wear. Look at both styles before you buy. Langdon is slightly more expensive but may be worth it. All in all, though, Teva is a winner. I’ve been in Tevas for years now. Between Teva and Zappos, you can’t go wrong.

I have always worn a more closed sandal. I wanted to try a different style. I am not super happy with them but I wear them.

I had a hard time finding sandals I like. Some cut into the foot or ankle, some are too short, some are too ugly or lack support. These are comfortable and are really beautiful to look at. I got the black olive color. (I also ordered the other color but didn’t care for it.) These have fairly good arch support.
I ordered about 12 sandals from various manufacturers (Teva, Ecco, Keen, Columbia, Camel) while these sat in my living room. I kept looking since some sandals have more arch support (and the arches are a little forward on these), the footbed on these made my foot sweat very slightly, soles on some sandals are tougher, and some sandals are completely waterproof (these are quick-drying and water resistant but not waterproof; I will spray some Scotchgard Suede & Nubuck Protector to further protect them). There are some beautiful and well-made sandals out there. But I loved these sandals every time I saw them. The closest I came to another sandal was the Teva Strata Universal, which has a Vibram sole (incredible!) and is waterproof. But the straps cut into my ankle, and, while not bad looking, were not incredible in that area.
These are comfortable, feel light, fit my foot, I can run and walk easily in them, and I feel good wearing them. The strap ends are a pleasure to grab when putting them on and off. Did I mention how great they look? I mean really good, including the sophisticated black olive color. (Even the Teva tag looks nice on these. A comment made by a good friend too.) They also seem well made. Try them!

Had a pair 30 years ago. Love my new pair. They have definitely got much comfortable. I didn’t think they could improve on perfection.

This is my third pair and I will keep buying these as long as they make them

This is my third pair. These are as close a match to my previous and first pair of Tevas. I wore them swimming, light hiking, kayaking, driving, around the house and camping for nearly a decade each. It was a no-brainer to stick with the same. They’ve been light weight and comfortable from day one until their retirement. Is this troubled economy, it was a relief to get a new pair at a reasonable price. This new pair is consistent with my previous experiences. It is a good value.

This is my third pair of Teva sandals. They fit like a glove. The support and comfort they provide can’t be beat. As I mentioned, I am a repeat customer and as long as quality products keep coming, always will be.

I have ordered these three times for my husband. They last him about 3 1/2 years and he wears them constantly. Very satisfied with the quality.
